Atlas ALX-4D Digitally Multichannel 4-Speaker Column Array.
The Atlas IED ALX-4D is a Digitally Steerable, Multichannel 4-Speaker Column Array. In challenging acoustical environments, such as vast passenger terminals or traditional houses of worship, AtlasIED Aimline loudspeakers provide precise vertical directivity control. This results in optimal coverage and enhanced intelligibility by directing acoustic output to the audience and significantly reducing reflections from hard surfaces.
The AtlasIED ALX-D range features digitally steerable, multichannel array loudspeaker systems designed for commercial installations with problematic acoustics. Advanced steering algorithms, powerful DSP, and efficient amplification equip system designers to control sound in large, highly reverberant spaces.
With IP connectivity and Dante as standard, ALX-D eliminates the need for external interfaces and network bridges. Each transducer has its own DSP and amplifier channel, allowing fine beam adjustments and acute steering capability. The acoustic center can be adjusted along the entire column length, and independent split beams can be deployed for optimal venue coverage.
The seven ALX-D models consist of identical modules that create arrays up to 5m (16ft) long, avoiding the need for shipping and receiving lengthy columns.
The integrated software enables real-time control, telemetry, and beam steering optimization within a single package. Configuration and addressing are fully automatic. The series integrates seamlessly with AtlasIED GCK advanced notification software, becoming part of the AtlasIED GLOBALCOM ecosystem.
For critical messaging, the Aimline Series meets global legislative and safety standards, ensuring clear and intelligible messages for instructional and emergency scenarios in public buildings and transportation hubs.
The narrow cabinet and discreet mounting hardware blend seamlessly into architecturally sensitive spaces, both indoors and outdoors.
