Atlas ALX-8D Digitally Multichannel 8-Speaker Column Array.
In the most challenging acoustical environments, such as vast modern passenger terminals or traditional houses of worship, AtlasIED Aimline loudspeakers offer precise vertical directivity control. This ensures optimal coverage and an enhanced direct-to-reverberant ratio for superior intelligibility by targeting acoustic output directly to the audience, minimizing reflections from hard surfaces.
The AtlasIED ALX-D range includes digitally steerable, multichannel array loudspeaker systems for the commercial installation market. Designed for acoustically problematic spaces, the advanced steering algorithms, powerful DSP, and efficient amplification provide system designers with precise tools for controlling sound in large, highly reverberant areas.
Featuring IP connectivity and Dante as standard, ALX-D eliminates the need for external interfaces and network bridges typically required for digital beam steering. Each transducer has its own DSP and amplifier channel, enabling fine beam adjustments and acute steering capability. The acoustic center can be adjusted along the entire column length, and independent split beams can be deployed for optimal venue coverage and performance.
The seven ALX-D models consist of identical modules that create arrays up to 4.8m (16ft) long, eliminating the need to ship and receive lengthy columns.
The integrated software allows real-time control, telemetry, and beam steering optimization within a single package. Configuration and addressing are fully automatic, and the series integrates seamlessly with AtlasIED GCK advanced notification software, becoming part of the AtlasIED GLOBALCOM ecosystem.
For critical messaging, the Aimline Series meets global legislative and safety standards, ensuring clear and intelligible messages for instructional and emergency scenarios in public buildings and transportation hubs.
The narrow cabinet and discreet mounting hardware blend seamlessly into architecturally sensitive spaces, both indoors and outdoors.
