Q-SYS™ is a complete integrated system that encompasses everything from the audio input to the output of the loudspeakers; it provides all the routing, processing, control and monitoring, while maintaining the audio quality and reliability QSC has come to be known for.
The PS-X works together with the Page Stations to provide paging to the local zone. Q-SYS Page Stations are network devices and like all other Q-SYS peripherals their functions are defined and configured by the Q-SYS Designer software. The Page Station and Slave Station work in conjunction with the “Public Address Router”, a suite of Q-SYS software elements to provide extensive and sophisticated paging functionality.
The PS-X Microphone Station is designed to be mounted on a wall housed in a standard US 2-gang wall box and connects directly to the rear of the Page Station via CAT5 cable to the Aux Input and GPIO connections. Voice input is provided through a handheld push-to-talk microphone. A unique magnetic docking system and cable strain relief allow flexibility in microphone placement when not in use yet help deter theft or removal of the microphone. Combining the Slave Station and the Page Station provide multiple inputs for a common zone, for example both the kiosk and jet-way of an airport gate can be easily served by this combination. Q-SYS is a powerful and reliable unified system that features rock-solid performance backed by the unrivaled service and support QSC has built its reputation on.
