Description

IS enclosures provide an impressive broadband noise reduction of 20dB which greatly reduces sound transference into adjacent spaces. This is achieved via a rigorously engineered MDF and aluminum structure that is lined with a vibration-damping membrane sandwiched between two asymmetrical acoustic absorbers. Though this advanced construction technique is common in some of the world's finest hi-fi loudspeaker to reduce cabinet noise, it is rarely—if ever—used in architectural speakers. These enclosures are recommended for applications where keeping sound leakage to a minimum is crucial.
